I went to bed at 9 last night, and slept for 12 hours. I'm entirely okay with this, as I was running an average of about four a night this whole week.

SO YAY.

Karma is a bitch, and I should know not to tempt fate.

I asked work to draw back my hours, which they did. So I have one shift this week because they couldn't find anyone to cover for me. It's today, and it's only four hours.

It's 5:34 and I woke up because I had to vomit.

There's no telling where I picked this up. Chey's been sick, grama's been sick, a couple people from work have been sick, and I've spent time with all of them.

gudjfhsjfkjhg I just had to mention to myself how lucky it was I hadn't gotten sick, didn't I? DIDN'T I!?

I donated blood today!

I probably won't do it again! XD

The actual process was fine. The worst part was the very end, but I don't know what they did; just that there was this weird pressure and it hurt.

But I was fine, until they removed everything, then it aaaaall went downhill.

I didn't stop bleeding. They put pressure on it and my body just laughed XD Four 4x4 gauzes later, they decided to have me hold it down really really hard and hold my arm straight up for a while, then bandage me up.

By this point, I got really out of it. They had to keep me talking because I started slurring all my words. That passed, and I sat up. Which was fine for less than a minute before I nearly pitched off the other side of the bed.

Then I got really cold, then got really hot, and they had to put an ice pack under my neck. The lightheaded feeling got worse and I nearly forgot how tall I was, and then I remembered, saying "five-eight" was a task.

It took an hour for me to be able to sit up without my balance falling into my feet and the room spinning off in weird directions.

Then I came home and slept for five hours. I keep alternating between sitting here and lying down because if I sit up too long, the room gets wobbly.

Chey, though, gave her pint and sat up for, like, a minute, and then was off having cookies XDD

In retrospect, this should have screamed BAD IDEA.

I mean, it's a simple procedure, and it's common, and it doesn't even require it done in a hospital environment.

But I get strep throat despite missing the part of your body responsible for it.

SO THERE YOU GO.

I had an awesome day yesterday. So very very awesome.

I've been awake for an hour today, and reminded myself of how time-inept I am.

No, really.

I know that the blood drive miss_jelly and I are going to is this Thursday. I also know that it is the 11th.

I know that I have two appointments on Wednesday, February 17th.

I know these dates.

Guess what?

I still managed to think the appointments were today.

I'M AWESOME.

Oh yeah, foot of snow outside. Faaaabulous. I wish I was tiny again and could play in it.

I had a fabulous day.

BLOOD DRIVE ON THURSDAY WITH XEILIN.

Mom wanted to watch Boys Don't Cry last night. I apparently never told her I dislike that movie immensely, as I find the main character to be a dickbag and thus cringe through every scene with him in it.

We settled on wrapping up Supernatural, instead.
